Do you like million of others struggle to get a good night’s sleep? Find it hard to wind down after a hard day? You’re so not alone. There’s lots of things you can do to help.
1. Toxic Chill
Don’t be scanning your phone or tablet if you find sleep tricky. If you do, it literally wakes up the brain and makes getting a good night’s rest even harder.
2. Food For Thought
Some foods and drinks literally keep us awake. Obvious ones are drinks with a high caffeine content - that includes soft drinks as well as coffee and tea. Eat too near bed time and you’ll likely struggle to nod off. Better to eat comfort foods such as oats, rice and dairy and to do it well before bedtime.
Yes, sex will help you sleep. Stick with us on this. You’ll burn calories and energy and that’s a great combo for triggering tiredness and then lots of well-deserved zzzzzzs.
4. Winding Down
At the end of the day you’re entitled to a good rest. You can look to including certain rituals before you hit the hay. A bath for example. You might want to read a real book (not an electronic one), or listen to some relaxing music - classical perhaps or soul. Not Scandinavian Speed Metal.
CBD is known to help the relaxing process. Here’s the science bit: CBD contains what is known as terpene myercene - which is supposed to help muscles relax and promote sleep. If you're looking for some quality shut-eye then perhaps look at our CBD range.
